Custom Lore Templates
Please refer to the below templates before submitting lore. Fields listed are required, but more information can be added as needed. Staff reserves the right to disapprove lore that doesn't fall in line with the guidelines for that specific category. Click a link below to be taken to the template for that category.

Name:

Sentient / Sapient?:
Homeworld & Current Location: Where do they originate from?
Anatomy & Morphology: Anatomy describes the physical design of the species, number of limbs, muscular and skeletal structure etc. This is where you describe the height, weight, number of limbs, skin color, etc. Be descriptive.
Extra Capabilities: Can be in list format, but basically; are they stronger than other races? Are they quicker? Do they have extra eyes, etc. Keep this non-OP.
Limitations: What are the limitations of this species? For instance, Arkanians' eyes are sensitive to extreme sources of heat.
Lifespan: How long do they live? What is the age range of childhood, adulthood, middle age, old age? When, on average, do they die?

For sentient species:
Language: What languages do they speak?
Culture: What does the species observe as normal?
Politics: What is their political system?
Faction Relations: How do they feel about the factions? Are they divided? Do a majority of them support the Empire? The Republic?
History: What is the history of the species?
Intent: How do you intend to utilize the species?

Submission Guidelines
When submitting species, please keep this in mind:
1. Species that do not complete the above fields will not be accepted. However, adding more detail than the above fields is allowed.
2. If a submitted species is identical to a canon species, you might be asked to use the canon species.
3. Other people are allowed to create characters under the species. This is why detail in submission is important; it is easier to play a fleshed-out species to the creator's intent than it is to play one without a fleshed out profile.
4. Species must follow the same rules as character creation. Excessively overpowered species may invoke disapproval.
5. Species imported from other literary works aren't allowed.

Name:
Coordinates / Location: They don't necessarily have to be exact; the general area and system is required. However, players are encouraged not to place their planet next to canon planets as this can cause issues in continuity; players should not have to read your planet submission in order to roleplay on canon planets.
Climate / Terrain: What is the climate of the planet? Do species on the planet have to take certain measures to survive here due to it?
Night / Day Cycle: What are the night and day cycles? E.g. Are the nights longer than the days due to the rotation? How long are the days / nights?
Population Species: What sentient and non-sentient species are on this planet, if any?
Resources: What resources does the planet provide to its denizens? For example, are there slabs of hypercompressed glacial ice? A terrain of oceans of lava that can be utilized to provide geothermal power?
Extraterrestrial Bodies: Does the planet have any organic or non-organic orbiting extraterrestrial features? If the planet is in its own system, what are the features of its star?
Locations of Note: Major cities go here, as well as other important terrain features.

If sentient life exists on-planet:
Government: What government exists on the planet? Is it aligned with the Republic, the Remnant, the Hutt, or does it have an independent government?
Culture: Is there an established culture?
Technology: What technology level is the planet at? Keep in mind, starting on a planet with a higher technology level does not allow a player to start with advanced technology.
History: What are the historical events of the planet?

Intent: How do you intend to use the planet?

Submission Guidelines
1. Planets that do not complete the above fields will not be accepted. Adding more detail than the above fields is allowed. However, if a category above doesn't apply to a planet, e.g. no flora / fauna due to the planet being uninhabitable, it can be left N/A.
2. If a submitted planet is identical to a canon planet, you may be asked to use the canon planet.
3. Other people are allowed to utilize the planet upon acceptance. However, they are expected to abide by the listed lore written in the planet's profile.
4. Planets that would exist in a location that may harm the suspension of disbelief for the universe will be asked to be moved. For example, popping a planet in right next to Coruscant is a no; it would fundamentally change the lore of the existing universe. In the same note, new players should not have to read your planet submission in order to roleplay on canon planets. It is encouraged to create planets non-adjacent to canon planets.
5. Planets should follow character creation guidelines. Planets that exist to give an extra advantage to a player (such as starting them out with advanced technology due to the planet's technology level) will not be approved.
6. Planets taken from other literature or websites are not allowed unless it is a literature of your own creation. Planets must be original.

Name:
Type: Is it a venue of some sort? An item such as a holocron or a club? Whatever it is, players are encouraged not to make a submission which would otherwise harm the suspension of disbelief (such as replacing an existing location, such as the Senate chambers of the Republic),
Intent: What is the purpose of this submission? How do you intend to use this submission? This section is important to prevent redundant submissions or player-made submissions which can already be found among existing canon and lore.

Location: If applicable. If not, put N/A.
Owner: If applicable. If not, put N/A

Reference Images: Highly encouraged if applicable. If not, put N/A.

Description: Explain the nature of your submission. This includes history and other information as applicable. Details are highly encouraged for the benefit of staff review and potential use by other players.

.

Submission Guidelines
1. All submissions are required to follow the standards of the Custom Lore Templates and provide all the information required in the listed templates.

2. A submission which does not provide the information required by the templates will not be accepted. While it is perfectly acceptable to provide more information than what is requested, providing less is not.

3. All lore, by its nature, is meant for building the universe and stories within the universe. Any submissions which are being made to be used as a crutch in a PvP scenario, a means to antagonistically inhibit another player, or in other ways violating the spirit of the original intent will be denied and limitations can be added to the species / character if it is found that the player is doing so.
